Rules)
1) If it says "write a poem based on...","write a short story beginning with", Etc. Follow what it says. If it says write a short story and you write a poem, it will not be accepted in the challenge.

2) Do not jock other people's work (obviously), and do not use song lyrics, poem excerpts, etc, without permission from the creator.

3)Please tell me if you are doing the challenge. I will be keeping tabs and watching anyone who does the challenge to see your works.

Here are the 35 Prompts:
35 Prompts Challenge

EDIT: 4/3/09 I changed number 24 a bit, instead of just story, its a story or 4+ stanza poem.



1- Close your eyes briefly. Think of one object that's in the room and focus on it. Without opening your eyes, recall as much detail as you can about it. After 3 minute or so, open your eyes and write about that object without looking at it.

2- A picture is worth more than a blank page. Take out those dusty photo albums. Pick out photo 14. Count whatever way you like, but make sure you stop at photo 14. Look at the photo for 2-3 minutes. Then, for 10 minutes, write all

The 35-prompts-challenge is a writing challenge is a writing challenges of all kinds!
  It gives people a chance to break out of your shell of just writing one type of thing. it also gives other artists a chance to start something new. Or just gives a chance to get rid of some boredom.
  Most of the people loves the challenge and find it something interesting to do! We have features contest and hopefully soon, a write-a-thon. :D

I started the challenge about a year ago. Maybe not even, and it started out really promising, and has slowly started dying.
I really want to get actvity back up so I do not have to close this down for good.

Well at one point me and my admin  :devsyntropy: and staff member  :devjulietcaesar: all became too busy. Well, as part of my senior year goals, I'm determined to get all my projects I'm in up and running again, even if I'm the only one running it. I don't care.

Yes. We are looking for a few staff members.
I need the following:

A Twitter mod to start running a twitter account I will make.
And a organization mod to start organizing all the folders. I don't know if we're going to keep doing it by member, or start doing it by prompt.

One of my close friends is VERY pregnant
and she doesn't exactly have a lot of money.
